Bengals v. Tang-- A rematch of pool play in which the Bengals cruised 15-6. Don't let that past result fool you though, this game will be much closer than the three-on-three game played three weeks ago. In that matchup DyNasty subbed loosely and could not keep their best players in the whole time. With what will likely be a five-on-five game tonight, look for Tang to keep in his "Goon Squad" of McCarthy, Kolthammer, Velez, Sherrill in for much of the game (provided he can tear Josh and Steve away from Goaltimate). An upset is certainly feasible, but they'll have to overcome the depth on a Bengals team that hasn't been 100% since week 1. It's hard to imagine a line of Marsh, Listfield, Jin, Albacker, and Kassam giving too much away at crunchtime. Prediction: Bengals take half 8-6 and hold that narrow lead throughout and go on to face Bling in the semis. A promising DyNasty team suffers battles for fifth after a rough pool play and a tough draw in the quarters. Bluedman Group v. Mean Girls Bluedman Group looks to break out of its recent slump after winning its first two games while Mean Girls come into the playoffs with two straight wins. The one-on-one matchups in this game will be the key to this game. Look out for the Arthur/Willie "big-guy-trying-to-throw-for-goals" matchup, the Hummon/Wayne Jin "we are like 45 years old" matchup, and the Tiger/MacKenzie "whoever gets more Ds gets to hook up with the one cute girl in the law school" matchup. It's going to be about who comes into this game ready to play. Prediction: The two teams trade breaks throughout the game. Mean Girls win the honor of losing to TAYUN in the semis.
