Welcome to the Harvard Graduate Dormitory Council website. The GSAS Residence Halls are a great place to live while at Harvard. The Harvard University Graduate Dormitory Council (GDC) is a voluntary graduate-student run organization dedicated to keeping it that way! The main purpose of the GDC is to foster a sense of community among the residents of the GSAS halls via various social activities through the year.

April 20th, 2008: GDC Elections

GDC Executive Committee elections will be held during the Open Meeting (9:00, Conant 1st), following event proposals. An officer position on the GDC is a great way to get involved with residence hall life, and to meet fun and interesting people! Residents can run for more than one position, and detailed descriptions of each position can be found in the GDC constitution:

The GDC Constitution

All offices are open, and we especially need people to run for the following:

President
Vice President (New)
Social Coordinators (2 people needed)
Video Librarian
Equipment Officer
Public Service Officer

To run, just come to the meeting and have someone (could be yourself) nominate you, and then give a 1-2 minute speech. Contact the GDC President, Rita Kalra (rkalra@fas) if you are interested in running or have questions!

To vote, you should have attended at least two GDC meetings during the year.
