Welcome to the Harvard Republican Club

Like most Americans, you are probably aware of Harvard's well-deserved liberal reputation. From thousands-strong rallies against the liberation of Iraq to a student body that tears down all posters with a conservative message, our college has its problems. Yet a lesser-known aspect of Harvard that deserves attention is the increasingly strong and organized segment of the population that rejects extremist views and seeks answers to questions of public policy in the doctrines of the Right.

The Harvard Republican Club (HRC), a student-run organization at Harvard College, exists to encourage such trends. As the oldest College Republicans chapter in the country, founded in 1888, we are proud of our rich history of Republican advocacy.

Year of the Underdog: Looking Forward to a New Semester

We are looking forward to the Spring Semester as we plan events and herald in the year of the underdog!

April 20-26: ROTC Week - HRC Sponsors Equality for ROTC Students

The HRC is spearheading a movement to officially recognize ROTC students on Harvard's campus in several different ways. To get involved, contact Mark Isaacson (misaacs@fas.harvard.edu).

Bipartisan Paintball Brawl

The Harvard Dems and the Harvard Republicans have a long paintball history! The Republicans have never lost. Be part of our grand tradition and come out to destroy the Dems this spring. RSVP here.

HRC General Board Meetings

Come one...come all! To the HRC General Board Meetings. Board meetings will take place on the first and third Tuesdays of every month (unless advertised otherwise) at 8 pm. Please come to discuss the current hot political topics and learn about the upcoming club events. If that's not enough-- we have pizza!
