HEAS Annual Conference The Eleventh Annual, 2008 Harvard East Asia Society (HEAS) Graduate Student Conference seeks to provide an interdisciplinary forum where promising graduate students from the United States and around the world can exchange ideas and discuss current research on East Asia with peers and Harvard University professors. The Harvard East Asia Society draws its membership from all those in the Harvard community whose academic interests focus upon East Asia. Our student-run, non-profit conference is the largest of its kind in North America. Previous participants have described the HEAS Graduate Student Conference as an invaluable opportunity to receive feedback on their research from distinguished professors and to exchange ideas with students around the world who share their research areas and interests.
