Thanks to everyone who came out for the Welcome BBQ today! We really enjoyed meeting all of you, and we're looking forward to seeing more of you at our upcoming events next week:

Monday, 13 September 2008 from 6:00 p.m. onwards, the Canadian Thanksgiving dinner will be held at Dudley House Dining Hall (Lehman Hall, near the Harvard T stop). We are currently seeking chefs who can roast a turkey, make a salad, whip together some cranberry sauce, or create any other festive dish. Please contact Alison Hill or Stephanie Tam if you can share your gourmet skills!

Tuesday, 14 September 2008 from 9:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m., join the Harvard Canadian Law Society for the Canada Elections Results Viewing at Cambridge Queen's Head (45 Quincy Street, underneath Memorial Hall). Scintillating political discussions over some pub fare will be the order of the day.

For more information, please check the events page. Pictures from today's BBQ will be posted soon!

Due to the weather on the weekend, the Welcome BBQ has been moved to Saturday, 4 October 2008 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the Richards Hall lawn. In case of another bout of rain, we will relocate to the Richards Hall basement. Sorry for the changes, and hope to see you all there!

21 September 2008

Mark your calendars! Saturday, 27 September 2008 from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. the Richards Hall lawn (between Harkness Commons and the GSAS dorms) will be red and white for our Welcome BBQ. Canadian Harvard graduate students and friends, meat-lovers and vegetarian/vegans alike, are all welcome to come!
