Orchestral Auditions
New Members wishing to join the orchestra will have auditions during the week before classes begin, and String Co-Principal auditions will take place during the first week of rehearsals. New string players interested in these positions must attend both auditions, but upperclassmen already in MSO or any other Harvard orchestra only need to attend the second audition. Non-principal string players do not have to re-audition every year once they are accepted. Wind and percussion players, since they rotate parts all year, are also exempt from re-auditioning.
