The Vanguard Award

Vanguard award winners are recognized for their positive contribution they have made within and outside of the African-American community.  Vanguard winners are not only successful in their personal endeavors but they have served as valuable role models to other young black men and their successful endeavors prompt important social changes in our society. We honor the men who continually encourage and motivate others around them.
