The Laboratory

The second floor of the ArtSpace is home to our shared studio space, called The Lab. The Lab's a converted squash court that has been re-dedecated for it's present use as a hot house for the experimation with and creation of all kinds of visual art. The Lab is located to the right of the stairway on the second floor landing. The Lab is available for your use, and is kept well equiped with many basic supplies. The Lab has a very large wall on the far end for video/film projection work and is fitted with a surround sound audio system. You'll also find a tool wall, beside the sink, where you can find many of the hand tools and power tools that you'll need along the way. If you can't find what you need though, check in next door with Resident Artist Tom Howell. His studio is on the left as you're heading up the stairs and is packed with lots of usefull stuff that he's often willing to lend out.
