I grew up in Baltimore, MD before moving to outside Washington, DC for high school, then onto Pasadena, CA for an undergraduate degree from Caltech. I just finished my Ph.D. at MIT, where I am now studying neuroscience as a post-doc. I am one of the resident science tutors and am also involved with house athletics. I was a four year letterman in baseball at Caltech (read as: I showed up), and am always up for some pickup sports. In addition, despite this blurb making me sound very cool, I am deep down a huge nerd and always love to talk about nerd stuff.
