Why bother joining AMS?
We are all soooo busy, it is true, but joining AMS need not disrupt or derail your life. In fact, it will channel your interests in music, help you get to know lots of likeminded folks, and it will greatly enhance your resume. Most of all, it is tremendous fun!
What kind of positions are available?

| Fixer | recommends, coaxes, and gathers the musicians |
| Publicity Officer | designs and prints posters + flyers |
| Librarian | borrows or hires the sheet music |
If you are well-connected in the Yard's musical milieu then we need you as a fixer; if you enjoy designing digital images and have a flair for advertising then you'll be fantastic as our publicity officer; and if you are well-organised and are good at seeking out scores and sheet music you'll make a great librarian. Positions need not be limited to these three, however, so if you want to be involved, but in a different capacity, send your suggestions to David and Paula.
