Don't let the hair deceive you - Vinay plays a lot younger than his age (although he's really not that old) and is definitely young at heart! One dares say that Vinay is the best astrophysicist badminton player in the world. One'd think that since he is "reaching for the stars" all day that he should be well-stretched already when he shows up for badminton. Not true! "You can tell from his unique style of badminton that there's [much] more to this guy than meets the eye: cricket, Apple Mac's, curry, snowboarding, sailing, but [an HBCer] wouldn't call him an all-around sportsman until he can hit a golf ball straight."
