Peter Singer
Ira W. DeCamp Professor of Bioethics, University Center for Human Values, Princeton University, 1999-2004, part-time, 2005-present

Plenary Speaker

Topic: Saving the Most Lives.

The difference in the cost of saving a life varies greatly between developed and developing countries. Often this difference is taken for granted. I will argue that we should think of it as a major ethical issue, and ask what our obligations are to reduce this difference.
