After a wonderful success last year, we will once again be hosting a wine reception for our alumni after our February 9th performance as an opportunity to extend our thanks for your commitment over the past 18 years and to catch up with old friends. (More details are provided in the invitation attached to this e-mail). Should you not be free that evening, we hope you will be able to attend one of our other performances of Cendrillon on February 8, 14, 15, or 16 at 8:30 PM. Please let us know if you will be attending a performance, regardless of the date, so we can keep an eye out for you!

As you may know, however, mounting a full-scale opera each year is no easy task, and the cost of this year's production has presented significant financial challenges. The university administration has had to restrict financial support for DHO due to budget cuts, and we rely almost solely on ticket sales and generous contributions from patrons like you to fund our $9,000 budget. We are therefore hoping that you will consider a tax-deductible donation to DHO this year. Whatever support you can provide is deeply appreciated and ensures the continuing high quality of DHO's performances.
