An environmental art initiative piloted in the fall of 2019, with a release April 22, 2020 in honor of the 50th Earth Day. Linked here.
Every year we run an Earth Day Fair during Visitas, which falls near Earth Day. We invite organizations from Harvard and the Boston area to present their work and projects in environmental activism.
Each February, we campaign to get Harvard students to pledge to eat less meat for the month of February, to decrease environmental impact. We encourage everyone, regardless of their current dietary choices, to try and reduce their meat consumption in a way that is healthy and accommodating to their lifestyles. This past year, we had over 150 students pledge.
Partnering with PBHA’s after-school programs, we develop curricula about environmental and sustainability issues. We visit after-school programs in Cambridge and Boston, and bring lessons, crafts, and aim to empower today’s youth to make informed choices and protect their earth.
