There is much to do with the Environmental Action Committee, especially now that the University has embraced a new, positive attitude toward sustainability. Current projects include setting up a campus-wide bike-share program, developing an urban garden in the Harvard Square area, keeping the Harvard and Cambridge community informed about environmental news, and much, much more.
The best way to get involved and learn about what is happening in the EAC is to come to our general meetings, every Wednesday night at 8pm in the Quincy House Spindell Room.
If you can’t make it to these meetings, we also have subcommittees that work toward specific environmental goals, and they meet independently as well as reporting at our general meetings. To learn about our various committees, please go to our committees page.
