High School Conference

The Global Health Challenge @ Harvard College
Saturday, March 30th, 2013
9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Student Organization Center at Hilles, Harvard University

The Global Health Challenge @ Harvard College gathers high-school students from over 40 Boston-area high schools to address a case study relating to global health. Students will have the opportunity to research and familiarize themselves with the topic in the weeks leading up to the event; once on-site, students will divide into teams of 4-6 and develop a proposal to solve the real-world issues they encounter in the case study. This year’s case study focuses on tuberculosis in Pakistan.

During the one-day conference, students will also have the opportunity to hear from keynote speakers – experts in the field of global health – and Harvard Undergraduate students pursuing studies in global health.

Registration is free; however, we encourage students to purchase a $10 conference t-shirt (all proceeds will go to the Harvard Undergraduate Global Health Forum). Lunch will be provided.

More details, including registration and T-shirt order forms, directions, and resources for the case study, can be found at the Global Health Challenge’s official website,
