I. IOP Forum With Joe Gaylord-

II. HRC Board Meeting Wednesday -

Come to the general board meeting THIS WEDNESDAY, April 11 at 9pm in the Leverett private dining room. We will be discussing our end of the year events and may even be getting a guest visit from IOP Fellow, Ned Lamont. Fire up the grill!



III.
Be a MASS GOP Delegate

Represent the Harvard Republican Club -- the largest Republican delegation in the annual Mass. Association of College Republicans Convention to be held this Saturday, April 14, 2007 here at Harvard Hall at 11:00am to 2:00pm. As a voting delegate, we will be electing the new State leadership and meeting with over 200 other College Republicans from throughout Massachusetts.


IV. IOP Republican Study Groups-

Republicans Kerry Healey, Nancy Johnson, and Chriss Winston are among this semester's class of fellows at the IOP. Mrs. Healey's "Beyond Rhetoric of Reform: How to Turn Good Intentions into Effective Public Policy" study group takes place on Mondays from 4:00 - 5:30. For more information, contact Kait Michaud at kmichaud@fas.harvard.edu. Mrs. Johnson's study group, "Health Care Reform," takes place on Tuesdays from 4:00 - 5:30; for more information, contact Brian Bolduc at bolduc@fas.harvard.edu. Mrs. Winston's study group, "Will Women Elect the Next President," takes place on Wednesdays from 4:00 - 5:30; for more information, contact Andrew McCarthy at amccarth@fas.harvard.edu.

 

 

IV. Celtics Game -

There are a couple spots left for the for the HRC's annual Boston Celtics outing!  Join us on Wednesday, April 18th to watch the Celtics take on the Detroit Pistons.  We'll be meeting at the Harvard Square T-stop at 6:30pm and should return to Harvard by 10:30pm.  The cost is only $20 and includes transportation.  RSVP to zsmith@fas.harvard.edu if you're interested.  Remember, space is running out!

 

IV. Support Our Troops Week -

To follow up on the successful Support Our Troops Week held by the HRC earlier this year, the HRC is co-sponsoring another donation drive for our military members in Iraq and Afghanistan with the College Democrats and Harvard ROTC Association. Be prepared to again give donations of nonperishable food items, toiletries, entertainment items, and money for our men and women serving in uniform each night next week, April 16-20, during dinner in Annenberg, Mather, Quincy , and Pfoho dining halls. If you're interested in helping out with tabling in any of these dining halls, contact Colin Motley (cmotley@fas.harvard.edu).
