I. APRIL 8: HRC General Board Meeting with Congressman Leach

April 8 at 8 PM
Adams UCR
Thai Food

Join us for a conversation with Congressman Leach. This promises to be
a very interesting General Board Meeting, where we continue
conversation about the ROTC and simultaneously meet a prominent player
in US politics. We look forward to seeing you there!

II. APRIL 12: MACR Convention Saturday, April 12 from 10am-4pm

Join College Republicans from across Massachusetts at the annual
Massachusetts Alliance of College Republicans (MACR) Spring
Convention, which will be held from 10am-4pm at Boston College this
Saturday, April 12. Reed Hillman, who was a candidate for Lieutenant
Governor on Kerry Healey's ticket in 2006, will be the keynote
speaker. The HRC has been allocated 17 voting delegate spots for MACR
leadership elections to be held at the convention. If you would like
to be a delegate, please email VP for Campaigns and Activism Colin
Motley (cmotley@fas.harvard.edu) to sign up. Extra reason to attend:
HRC VP for Social Events Alee Lockman will be running for MACR Chair
and HRC VP for Campaigns and Activism Colin Motley will be running for
MACR Executive Vice Chair. Come meet other Massachusetts College
Republicans and support your fellow HRC members!

III. APRIL 29: Senator Allen at Wellesley

The Wellesley College Republicans will be hosting their annual Spring Lecture on
Tuesday, April 29. They have worked very hard to be able to have George
Allen as the keynote speaker. Former Senator Allen will be speaking on
the topic of illegal immigration, one of much controversy on liberal
campuses such as Harvard and Wellesley. This lecture will be
very engaging and Wellesley would like to extend an invitation to the Harvard
Republican Club.

IV. SOFTBALL

Love softball? Love beating democrats? Join the HRC's softball team in
the upcoming tournament. More information will be coming soon, but
start batting practice now. Contact Alee Lockman at
alockman@fas.harvard.edu to express your strategies, enthusiasm, and
willingness to be a part of HRC's sports endeavor.
