For the 2007-08 academic year, the deadlines to submit Conference and Summer Research Grant Applications Are:
Fall Conference Grant: October 17 2007
Winter Conference Grant: January 30 2008
Spring Conference Grant: April 23 2009
Summer Research Grant: April 23 2009

Deadlines are all 5pm Eastern Time.

The following items are necessary for a complete application. It is your responsibility to submit a completed application by the deadline. First, make sure to read the description of the Conference and Summer Research Grants and the Application Guidelines, especially concerning retroactive Conference Grants (Note that the GSC does not accept retroactive Summer Research Grants).

   With Adobe Acrobat Reader, you will only be able to print the form, but not save it. You will need Adobe Acrobat Professional to Edit and Save your form for upload. 3. Harvard Faculty can upload recommendation letters here.
   
   For both Conference or Summer Research Grants, you will need one letter of recommendation from a Harvard faculty member. There is no specific letter of recommendation form. PDF, Microsoft Word, and Plain Text files are accepted.

Also, be sure to keep electronic and/or printed copies for your records.

Uploading your PDF application forms and letters of recommendation electronically is strongly preferred. However, in case of unresolvable technological difficulties, the application form and/or letter of recommendation may be submitted as an email attachment sent to harvardgsc@gmail.com. Due to the large volume of correspondence received, you may experience a delay in receiving a confirmation of receipt. Applicants are asked not to send duplicate materials unless specifically requested.
