The Harvard College Economics Review (HCER) is a biannual periodical addressing issues of national and global import through political economic analyses accessible to economists and common readers alike. Designed particularly with the budding economist in mind, the HCER features interviews with prominent economists in academia, business, and government, informational articles addressing current economic affairs, and economic policy recommendations from Harvard student groups and faculty.

Each issue focuses on the examination of a particular domestic or international issue chosen by a survey of students of Harvard College. To diversify perspectives for the engagement of disparate groups on the Harvard campus, the HCER incorporates analyses from Harvard faculty and students alongside material from economic experts at the World Bank, the Federal Reserve, and other organizations beyond the confines of the Harvard campus.
