There are many ways to be a part of the Advocates.

Our mailing list informs members of human rights advocacy opportunities from Harvard’s campus to the international level. You can learn about the events and campaigns we are currently sponsoring, as well as those of our partner organizations. Sign up here.

The best way to become an Advocate is to attend one of our trainings. All Advocates must go through a “comp” process where they engage with other undergraduates as well as an interdisciplinary staff of professors, visiting scholars, international activists and Harvard law students about different ways to approach human rights advocacy. Workshop topics in the past have included: how to research for human rights research, alien tort law, corporations and human rights, interview skills, the European human rights system, and more.

From there, our members can choose to work with the Campaign of their choice.  Please contact the Campaign Director, or the VP of Outreach, to learn more.

If you are interested in joining the Advocates, please fill out a talent bank.
