Welcome to the HEEN!

The Harvard Energy and Environment Network (HEEN) facilitates communication, collaboration and interaction between environmental and energy groups at each of Harvard's schools. The network does not take formal positions on energy and environment policies or advocate particular stances, but rather provides a platform for the efficient and productive exchange of ideas, projects and events.

Additionally, the network serves as the single portal through which interested students, faculty, staff, visitors, professionals, and other institutions can learn about and contact Harvard's active energy and environment community. The mission of HEEN is accomplished through a centralized email list and calendar, as well as HEEN-sponsored campus-wide events that bring together members of the energy and environment communities across Harvard.

HEEN is coordinated by student leaders from the Energy and Environment Network, and in close collaboration with leaders of the Harvard Climate Collaborative. While the groups have distinct goals, they both bring together students from across Harvard University for the purpose of improved communication and effective collaboration.
