We are a journal club that meets weekly with the goal of facilitating discussion and
furthering our understanding of the technical details of energy technology
and science.  Our primary purpose is not to discuss policy issues, but rather it is to
enable us to develop the necessary technical background to better understand
energy issues and policy.
Our topics are included in the following broad categories:
- Depletable Resources
(e.g. Oil, Gas, Clean Coal, Nuclear, CO2 Capture & Storage)
- Renewable Resources
   (e.g. Geothermal, Wind, Solar, Hydro)
- Technology and Applications
(e.g. Energy Storage, Electric Grid, Fuel Cells)
Each week during the semester members will read and discuss a technical article relevant to
the science and technology of energy.  Please see our calendar for more details.
The HEJC is open to members of the Harvard and MIT communities.  Please contact us for more information.
