IRC Central is the central command hub for the International Relations Council, performing all of the essential functions that keep the organization running and allow for the programs to focus on their specific activities. Our Treasurers oversee the IRC's accounts and investments, while our Vice Presidents of Corporate Relations work to unite the membership across programs and across generations. Our Vice President of Operations keeps the IRC up-to-date with the latest technology, while our Clerk and Secretary perform essential record-keeping and maintain our institutional memory. The President oversees the Corporate Officers and the Board of Directors, ensuring that all of the essential functions are carried out properly to facilitate the work of the Program Heads.
As a registered 501(c)3 non-profit, we are required to have a Board of Directors which oversees the Corporation and makes decisions on long-term strategic initiatives for the organization as a whole. Our Board of Auditors monitors revenues and expenditures throughout the year and plays a crucial role in the budgeting process. We also have a Board of Strategy, an in-house consulting body that supports the Board of Directors with research and analysis on our long-term strategic challenges.
