International Relations on Campus (IRoC)
Responsible for the IRC's outreach on campus, IRoC is proud to be the only undergraduate
organization on campus whose main purpose is to promote the discussion and awareness of international affairs. We collaborate closely with the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs in our work, and in all of our events we try to bring students closer to faculty. IRoC is not only a student organization, it’s also a tightly-knit group of friends who share a common interest in international relations and having fun.
What We Do
- Weekly discussions with professors, Weatherhead Center Fellows, and other individuals with expertise in international affairs over casual dinners.
- Special events that may take the form of a speech, a conference, a symposium, or a series. Past events include International Careers Day, Human Rights Week, and a conference on Ethics and International Affairs.

- Study groups are generally held 2-3 times per semester, each one for 2-3 weeks. The speaker(s) go into depth on one particular issue or topic, with a different focus for each weekly session.
- IR Week is a week-long conference in the spring semester on a broad theme in international affairs. Each day will have a specific theme, for which we collaborate with a variety of IR-related student groups on campus. Events come in diverse forms, such as speaker events, movie screenings, photo contests, charity dinners, food bazaars, and so on.
