The Harvard Society of Black Scientists and Engineers (H.S.B.S.E.) club represents a bright component of the future: increasing minorities in science, medicine, and engineering. H.S.B.S.E. is a student-run organization supporting undergraduates pursuing science and engineering studies, careers, and beyond. Aware of the scarcity of minority scientists and engineers, both at Harvard and at large, HSBSE aims to address the issues that have led to this under-representation. We are students who search for the explanation of life with the tools of science and engineering. Our group provides our members with academic support and professional networks, however membership is open to all Harvard undergraduates.
