Mark Olson named Interim Director of Bands. Former Director of Bands and Monday Band Director Tom Everett Retired from Harvard University. Tenor saxophonist and Harvard Alum Don Braden '85 will be Monday Band Guest Conductor.
The Harvard Summer Pops Band announces its 41st season in 2013
Theme for this year is "A Little Song, A Little Dance"
The Summer Pops Band is open to all brass, woodwind, and percussion musicians in the Harvard Community regardless of age or experience (without audition or fees). Participants are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early on the first rehearsal, which will be held on June 26th, in order to meet the conductor and fellow section members.
