Public Interest & Law Conference: Schedule

The Conference will be held Saturday, October 17 from 10:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. in Harvard University's Pound Hall on 1557 Massachusetts Avenue.

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Registration and Light Breakfast

11:10 AM – 12:00 PM: Morning Keynote Remarks

12:10 PM – 1:00 PM: Panels: "Education" & "Gay Marriage"

The first set of panel discussions will feature two events: "A Discussion on Contemporary Issues in Education" and "A Discussion on Gay Marriage and Law."

1:10 PM – 2:00 PM: Lunch & Address from an HLS Representative

2:10 PM – 3:00 PM: Panels: "For-Profits and Non-Profit Work" & "CORI"

The second set of panel discussions will feature the events: "For-Profits Doing Not-for-Profit Work" and "A Discussion From Both Sides: The State of the Criminal Offender Record Information Law (CORI)."

3:10 PM – 4:00 PM: Panels: "Immigration" & "PI&L 101"

The third set of panel discussions will feature the events: "Public Service Law 101: The Who, What, Where, When & Why" and "Immigration and Its Future in America."

4:10 PM – 5:00 PM: Reception

HULC will host a reception during which those attending the conference will have an opportunity to converse with the speakers and panelists of the PI&L Conference.
