HCS Tech Talk: Our Infrastructure in a Nutshell (Tue, Oct 20, 2009)
Thanks to everyone who came to the fourth installment of the 2009-2010 HCS seminar series. Here are the details of the talk:
The Harvard Computer Society maintains a state-of-the-art, fully redundant, and fault-tolerant architecture which provides a variety of services (web hosting, mailing lists, and more) around campus. Come learn how the magic happens! We'll explore the internals of our systems, from our hardware to our configuration management system to our software suite for workflow automation. Especially recommended for people interested in joining the HCS Systems Team.
Speaker: Greg Brockman, Director of Systems at HCS
The HCS seminar series provides an open forum for members of the Harvard community to speak about topics in computers, technology, and the universe in general.
