As the election draws near, come hear former Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor Kerry Healey, and New England Steering Committee Chair of Obama for America Alan Solomont, speak on behalf of the Presidential candidates on their stands on the burning foreign policy issues of the day, with particular attention to the Middle East.

Alice Rothchild speaking about her book Broken Promises, Broken Dreams

The Harvard College Progressive Jewish Alliance and the Harvard Society of Arab Students will host physician and activist Alice Rothchild on Friday April 13th. She will be speaking about her new book, Broken Promise, Broken Dreams: Stories of Jewish and Palestinian Trauma and Resilience, an intimate journey grappling with the complicated historical legacy of Israel and Palestine and her relationship to these issues. Human and Civil Rights in Israel

Come and join the Progressive Jewish Alliance as we hear from two speakers from the New Israel Fund. PJA is bringing Morad El-Sana and Gil Gan-Mor to Hillel to discuss human and civil rights issues in Israel. They will speak on Palestinian civil rights, Bedouin rights, LGBT rights, and education within Israel. The New Israel Fund advances civil rights and social justice for all Israelis, and it is widely credited with transforming the social justice and human rights communities in Israel. All are welcome.
