What is TTF?
The following website is designed to help answer questions that transgender community members may have regarding resources, policies and services at Harvard University. Since the information provided is likely to change please check back for updates.
- The Harvard Transgender Task Force (TTF) is a sub-committee of the Harvard Queer Students and Allies (QSA) consisting both undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, and alumni at Harvard University. TTF is dedicated to:
- Improving the lives of transgender (including transsexual, genderqueer and other gender non-conforming) people and communities across the Harvard campus
- Holding events to educate and raise awareness about trans issues on campus
- Working to make university policies and campus life more inclusive
- Training student organizations, staff, houses, and people who are interested in learning how to become more trans-friendly.
What is TTF currently doing?
- Publicizing and refining the housing policy for undergraduates with unique gender-based needs
- Organizing a series of events (social and political) for “Qpril,”
- Upgrading the TTF website
- Conducting trainings (Trans 101s) across campus.
- We are also planning to work with the registrar to make academic records more inclusive of gender non-confirming students.
- We organize events in safe social spaces that are gender neutral.
