Non Discrimination Policy

Currently gender identity is included in the non discrimination policy for Harvard University.

In a letter from the Office of the General Counsel it was written that the inclusion of gender identity in the Non Discrimination Policy indicates, “All members of our community, including those who are transgender, have a right to be treated with dignity and respect, and to participate fully in the life of the University”.

The letter does add that this change is not, “signaling a change to the University’s benefit plans”.
