Thank you to everyone who came out to hear our music & message last Friday; your enthusiasm and support continue to inspire us, and we take incredibly joy in having the privilege to inspire & entertain you! We pray that God watches over you & draws you ever closer to Him, and we look forward to singing for you again next semester!
Love,
UC
Hey fans & friends,
“JAMming in the Deep” has been moved to Agassiz Theatre in Radcliffe Yard!! Same date & time, still free & awesome, just a different location! Can’t wait to see you there!!
Love,
UC
Get excited!! Under Construction’s fall concert, “Jamming in the Deep,” is happening this Friday at 8pm in Lowell Lecture Hall, and features songs ranging from gospel to hymns to Christian rap to secular mainstream! And, it’s 100% free! (and so are the refreshments that follow. Friday? More like Freeday. We just love you guys that much).
Also, our concert features an opening performance from Boston Found; check them out here — http://www.bostonfound.org/
Can’t wait to see you there!
Love,
UC
Thank you so much for your votes and your support for UC this weekend! We want to thank God for blessing UC to move on to the final round of the competition. You can check out more information on the competition by visiting the following page–http://bristolstudios.com/armageddon.htm
As UC will be practicing and prepping for our concert and the competition, please keep us in your prayers. Also we would love to have you join us for our concert on Dec. 2nd (Friday) and/or for the competition itself on Dec. 4th (Sunday). As 25% of our total score for the final competition is based on the crowd reaction, we really encourage you to join us. Please spread the word!
Again, thank you always for your support.
Also–UC will be singing at Harvard’s Diversitas gig at 7:30pm this Wed. and this Saturday at a concert hosted by HBV.
Bristol studios, a recording studio that UC has worked with before, is hosting an a cappella competition called “A Cappella Armageddon.” We went in for our first round audition last night to sing for the judges, but 10% of our score comes from how many votes we receive from our fans, and this is where you come in!
Please support us by voting for Under Construction NOW in the following page: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RFQLSWP
We haven’t participated in a competition like this in recent times and, if God willing, we would love to be able to testify God’s love and grace in a different context. Mostly, please keep us in your prayers for the competition and for our ministry on Harvard’s campus.
Lastly, our fall concert is December 2nd at 8pm in Lowell Lecture Hall. We would love to see you there!
Under Construction presents and welcomes

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in UC’s audition process this year. While we were overjoyed to have been blessed with so much talent, we had a very difficult time making our final decisions. If you were not offered a spot this year, please know that the decisions really came down to filling in UC’s very specific needs. We still definitely want to encourage you to come audition again next year. Thank you again.
Thank you everyone who made it out to Under Construction’s 2011 preliminary auditions. We had a great turn out and were overjoyed to have met you all who, like us, love both God and music. We are especially excited for what God has in store for each and every single one of you. While we couldn’t invite everyone back to the callbacks, we want to encourage you to continue praising God and hope to see you again either at our next audition or at our concerts.
The results of the prelims are being e-mailed out tonight, but if you have any questions, please e-mail Uni at choe@fas.harvard.edu.
Again, thank you so much and best of luck!
Hello! Our preliminary audition schedule is as follows:
Sat. 3-5pm Lowell Lecture Hall B12
Sun. 5-7pm Adams House LCR
Mon. 5-7pm Memorial Hall 203
A note from our Musical director, Jeremy Yang:
“The preliminary auditions are very low-stress, high-fun and will take only 10 minutes! All that is required of you to prepare beforehand is a verse and chorus of a song that you really like to sing, or that you think can show off your voice or personality. The entire prelim audition process will consist of some vocal exercises and warm-ups that I will lead you through, some ear training exercises, an optional sight-reading passage, and the performance of your song, a cappella. After your audition, there will be time for you to ask us any questions you’d like to know about the group. If you have any questions now, please email me at jdyang@fas.harvard.edu. Hope to see you soon! God bless.”
If you have trouble getting to the audition, feel free to contact Uni, our business manager, at choe@fas.harvard.edu.
