Under Construction has been singing on Harvard’s campus for 32 years and is now entering the 28th year. Our name, Under Construction, is inspired by Philippians 1:6 — “he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” As the verse describes, we take it to mean that no matter how far we get through our achievements, successes, big bucks, relationships, ambitions, etc., we are constantly under construction by God’s grace through learning more about and having a relationship with Christ.
Our group’s goal and vision is to further experience God’s love, transformation, and forgiveness, and share our experiences and God’s message with the Harvard campus and beyond through the medium of a cappella music. We hope to celebrate and share Christ’s love with the campus through our love for a cappella music and to see love, transformation, and forgiveness flourish in our campus. We are also a fun loving group of people who simply love to sing and learn more about the gospel with each other. We have sung for Harvard, Boston, New York, Washington D.C., California, China, Korea, and even Barbados!
