Veristance

We're happy to announce that we have put the finishing touches on our sixth CD, Veristance, released at our 2008 Spring Jam on April 12th. The album demonstrates the wide variety of the Veritones' repertoire and arrangement creativity, while taking advantage of modern A Cappella recording techniques and production methods. The album has been a fun chance for us to experiment while showcasing the wonderful talents of our group. The album includes twelve incredible tracks recorded by the Veritones of '06-'11. Veristance pays tribute to the varied tastes of the Veritones with pop hits like Suddenly I See, edgy alternative songs such as Crazy, and country jams like Crush. We hope that you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed recording it!

Our first recording... "Take it from the Top," released in 1990, marked our excursion into the world of studio sound with sixteen tracks of tight jazz and lyrical pieces. Five years later, two years of Veritones collaborated to produce "Decadence," a celebration of our tenth anniversary filled with humor and 80s pop. 1998 birthed "Vertigo," containing some of our most popular numbers like "Walking in Memphis" and "Time After Time." The Veritones' fourth album, "Imprudence," was released in the fall of '03, featuring newer standards like "Come to My Window" and "High and Dry". Most recently, we are proud to announce the release of "Almost Legal," our 20th anniversary CD, featuring our latest crowd-pleasers, recorded at WHERE, our new home in downtown Boston. We have been featured on other a cappella albums like "Wasting Our Parents' Money: The Best of College A Cappella Humor." Click on the albums to the left for track lists and clips of songs.
