Good Will Hunting
Every time I come home, I make sure to stop by the local Goodwill store to see what goodies I can scrounge from the racks upon racks of unwanted clothes. Though it always takes a good hour or two to find anything worthwhile, the rock bottom prices are always worth it.
On my most recent trip, I found this incredible 80’s gray blazer made of hearty Harris tweed. It’s a bit over sized (which I actually like) and much too heavy for summertime but perfect for the New England fall. All I’ll need is a crisp oxford shirt and a knitted tie to complete the look. Oh yeah, and it only set me back 10 bucks.
I also found another washed chambray shirt to add to my collection. I was just about to pass on it when I noticed the label read “Bonkers of London” which made me need it for some inane reason. At just three dollars, I can’t exactly feel guilty though…
My last find was this amazing pair of barely worn suede bucks by SCA. I love these shoes because they strike just the right note between dressy and casual and also happen to be in the perfect summery neutral: taupe. I also love that I only spent three dollars on a pair of shoes that I will probably wear forever.
