• Life and Manhood AF Angst level is really high. But remember, I don't do darkfics or sadfics. Ranma's had a hard, hard day, and he needs the help of someone special to him....I've gotten a lot of good reviews for this one from the Fan Fiction Mailing List. If I had an ego, it'd be so bloated now.... I consider this one to be my best story so far. Type: Unusual (angst-fest)
• Waking AF This is the sequel of sorts to "Life and Manhood" above. In fact, these two stories may be the start of a continuation-type fic, if I can manage that.... Anyway, please read "Life...." first and then "Waking" so that you don't bash me about Ranma or Akane being OOC, okay?. Heh. The folks on the FFML like this one too. • I Am a Part.... A voice speaks the truth. The real truth. It's an unusual viewpoint, an experiment of mine. (I'll admit, it's not one of my better pieces. I think I kinda rushed it.) Unfortunately, though, it seems to be similar to a piece that someone else already wrote.... Damn. Type: Unusual (misc, POV piece) Actually, to be fair to that author, Stephanie Gonzales, take a look at A Part of Him (remember, this is Ms. Gonzales's, not mine!)
  This fic placed seventh in the first ever Reader's Choice Ranma 1/2 Fanfic Awards, first quarter of 1997. I was pretty surprised; as I said above, I didn't like this one too much after I wrote it...I'd rather that "Life and Manhood" win that distinction. But hey, it's an honor anyway. ^_^
• Talking About It On the FFML, it had been remarked about how some viewed what Ukyou had done at the failed wedding at the end of the manga was some murder attempt. After all, hadn't some rather ugly occurrences (far worse than that) happened earlier, but were considered just humorous stuff? So why is it so serious all of a sudden? This is my response to them and stories like "Sour Times" and the flashback in DnR ep. 19. Type: Original Flavor? Not really sure....
• Revenge Attempt I was bored one day, and decided to do a little revengefic...well, sort of a revengefic. Written Jan. 26, 1997; this is just after realizing that "Insanity on 5 Coulombs a Day" had some major problems, and that chapter 2 of "Visiting Nerima" needed bigtime reworking. • Revenge Number 2, or Fine, Have It Your Way-- A few on the FFML complained that the above revengefic wasn't a real revengefic. So, I decided to make them happy. Written the day after "Revenge Attempt", Jan, 27, 1997. Type: Unusual (revengefic)
• All Alone, in the Night The title is taken from a famous Babylon 5 quote. I was feeling depressed early, early, early one morning.... People also have liked this one. I seem to be fond of writing things like this. Type: Unusual (angst-fest, almost a sadfic)
