With all the issues going on regarding airport security I felt we needed some humor in our lives. Aside from sharp metal objects... remember no liquids or gels either!

01.26.2006:

The inspiration to update hit me right along with this:

Make what you will of it. I think it's hilarious. Thanks Steph.

04.03.2005:

Hmmm.... So I know there should have been some interesting April Fools thing up here--- except we were on Spring Break, and well... really... the most important part of those two words is 'break'.

So we have some pretty tame stuff this week- enjoy!:

A Beginner's Guide to Get Backers

03.17.2005:

(Note: view pictures at own discretion - nothing bad, but I'm not sure who can get offended by what ^_^)

Okay, okay. I see that I've fallen a little bit behind with the updating. But what with midterms and watching tv... I just didn't have extra hours on my hands to rifle through the net to find disturbing or interesting things for you. However, last Saturday's meeting inspired today's EEW.

So in tribute of Get Backers, which we finish up this coming Saturday, and all of its happy insinuations- I bring you what I like to call: A not so obvious Yaoi undertone.

*blinks innocently*... okay... fineeeee. Matt, you did have a point- it's kind of obvious. Hahahaha... and please remember kiddos- most of the sample images you're about to see are by the official artist (exciting neh?).

And don't worry- I didn't spend hours on the net searching for these this week, they are quite easy to find... and well... I already had some on my computer anyways...*cough cough*- how did those get there?

(only available for a short while ^_^)

Note: For those of you who haven't seen the show - please don't get scared. lol. The actual anime and manga are supposed to be completely ermm straight.

02.18.2005:

Oh? What? What? You doubted that I would update this page once again? It *is* called the wrongness of the week. Which means, until I get loaded down with too much work- I'll try and find something to put up each week! Aren't you excited?

Okay- so this one was here a while ago- but the links no longer work... so I searched for it and wham bam!

I give you: The Sumo Senshi (Reloaded - muahahaha)!

So wrong. And yet not as disturbing as Man Faye!

And some other pages:

Doop doop doop

Some of these pictures repeat I'm sure

Okay, that's all for now folks. Until next time!

02.11.2005:

So this page has been inactive for too long. As the new HAS President I bring you the wrongness of the week: revamped! ... Ermm in other words... expect some wrongness- and well... just don't look if you don't want to be traumatized.

So remember how we all fell in love with Cowboy Bebop? How our hearts cringed (or maybe just mine) when Faye tried to stop Spike from leaving? Well in honor of that Faye, the strong Faye, the hurt Faye, the beautiful and yet slutty Faye- I bring you- the wrongness of the week once again:

Two things to keep in mind:

*I respect Cosplayers

*You might want to think twice before clicking

Man Faye!- BEWARE

And this one (which isn't in the guy's gallery) was the one I originally ran across in searching for some wrongness:

Oh My!

10.11.2003:
"What?" you ask. We actually updated this page???
Well, yes. This website that we found is too good to pass up. So without further adieu, we introduce:
Sumo Senshi!

http://www.sailormoon.jp/~chibiusa/sumo/indexsumo.htm
Yes, that is photos of sumo wrestlers dressed up like Sailor Scouts.

And to quote the poetic words of B.J.:
There's not enough Sake in japan to make them look good. And even though it was 4 years or so ago, the wrongness echos across the earth like some tidal wave of distaste.

In keeping with the stupidity-about-Eva theme of this week, there's this rather baffling site:

http://rivendell.fortunecity.com/immortal/584/gendou.html

It starts out stupid...but make sure to keep reading......

4.28.2001:
No, this is not a humorous parody. That's why it's scary. (On the up-side, I'm sure that it's making many people happy...)

http://www.anime-love.f2s.com/

I can't recommend anything specifically, since half the fun is exploring yourself for the 1st time. However, if you look at nothing else on the site, check this: http://www.anime-love.f2s.com/otaku.htm
(fascinating choice of illustrative pics as well)

4.21.2001:
Card Captor Sakura has produced an amazing amount of wrongness. Amazingly, much of it is enjoyable, and some of it is even non-pornographic! Here's a fun parody of the opening. There was an entire episode done (and we'd appreciate any info/links about it ^^).

warning: this often gives a 404, and the file will soon be taken down.

another page that has the file: http://ccwf.cc.utexas.edu/~triti/movies/c3b_op.mpg

Proving once again that some people have too much time on their hands, and/or that love can produce wonderous things.

Imagine a planet where the 70's lives on in the hearts and minds of all the inhabitants. Imagine that they looked kinda like the blue Gamilus people from Yamato tv. Now imagine that Leiji Matsimoto made a video for the group Daft Punk. "Celebrate and dance for freedom!"

(choose a fairly big file size---the details are necessary to fully appreciate the artistic vision)
