Welcome to the Harvard Armenian Society!

We are a group of undergraduate and graduate students interested in sharing Armenian history and culture with the Harvard community and with the Greater Boston area. We are committed to intercultural relations and dialogue and presenting the Armenian tradition in innovative and thought-provoking ways, while at the same time celebrating the cultural and entertaining aspects of Armenian life. Our events include dinners, music and dance performances, movie screenings, and academic symposia even as that repertoire expands overtime.

Going to Armenia?

The tour guide the Harvard Armenian Society recommends is: Muraz Tours

Muraz Tours offers an amazing itinerary, including all the major churches and historical sites in Armenia. They also offer trips to Karabakh/Artsakh as well. They will even find you an apartment to stay at in Yerevan.

Nina Kouyoumdjian, co-President of the Harvard Armenian Society, had the opportunity to go to Armenia and discover it through the Muraz Tour Agency. Nina fully recommends using the Muraz Tour for both people who are visiting Armenia for their first time and for those who have been before. She says, "Not only are tour guides able to communicate in English, they treat their tourists like family. We were pleasantly surprised to make such a bond with our tour guide Hovaness, while at the same time, receiving an invaluable educational experience about the history of Armenia."
