Jonathan Beauchamp

Hi! I am a 4th-year economics PhD student at Harvard and a non-res tutor in economics. My research interests include applied labor economics, behavioral economics, neuroeconomics, and statistical genetics. I am a native French speaker and I grew up in Montreal (where we have real winters!). I enjoy running, playing soccer, going to the gym, reading and cooking. I am happy to help you with your econometrics assignments and to answer other related questions.

Benjamin Edelman

Ben is an Assistant Professor in the Negotiation, Organizations & Markets Unit at the Harvard Business School. His research focuses on market design, particularly as to electronic markets.

Masha Hedberg

Masha is a PhD candidate studying the comparative political economy of post-communist countries. Her research explores the evolution of business collective action and its influence on policy reform in emerging markets. Her dissertation investigates the formation, organizational development and political strategies of business associations in Russia, Ukraine and Bulgaria. Related work looks at the rise and fall of guilds in nineteenth-century Tsarist Russia. In her spare time, she is learning to play squash, running about on the tennis court, watching football and tinkering with her cooking skills.

Aliza Watters

Greetings, Cabot. My name is Aliza and I'm a non-resident tutor in English, Creative Writing, and Fellowships. I graduated from
Middlebury College in 2004 with a B.A. in English; attended the Bread Loaf Writers Conference in Creative Nonfiction; spent a couple of years working for a New York Times Magazine photojournalist; and, with the help of a Marshall Scholarship, have just finished my doctorate in English Literature at Oxford, where my dissertation was on D.H. Lawrence, Modernism and religion. I love literature, pop culture, and all forms of creative writing, and am eager to talk with any of you about anything. I try to dine at Cabot most Wednesdays, but please do send an email any time.
