C.A.R.D.S. is a service organization at Harvard started in 1999 by a group of students with the purpose of bringing young faces and their artwork to residents in retirement and nursing homes in the Cambridge and Boston areas. Each year there will be three delivery projects with seasonal themes: December is for the winter holiday season, February is for Valentine's Day, and May is for Mother's/May Day. All students of Harvard University are invited to become members of C.A.R.D.S. and to participate in deliveries. Students will get to lead a group of children from local day care centers and schools around a retirement community, singing songs and delivering handmade cards to elderly residents. Please contact C.A.R.D.S. Director Jacquelyn Kung for more information about getting involved.
