Saving lives, one child at a time.

---------------------------

Harvard China Care was founded in 2003 with one simple mission:
to improve the lives of orphans in China.

Thank you to all donors and sponsors of HCC!

The Jenzabar Foundation

Harvard China Care extends its deepest gratitude to the Jenzabar Foundation, whose invaluable support over the years has allowed us to cover the start-up costs of various children's homes in China and maintain the operations of the Special Care Unit in Beijing.

Surgery Updates

YiXuan's Successful Spinal Bifida Surgery

YiXuan was suffering from Spina Bifida, a condition caused by the incomplete closing of the embryonic neural tube.  She had a successful spina bifida surgery in the late spring of 2012. After recovering for 2 months at the China Care Home, she went back to her home institution. Thank you for making a difference in her life!
