Co-Presidents

Aidan Madigan-Curtis ('07) madigan@fas.harvard.edu
Zhenzhen Lu ('06) zlu@fas.harvard.edu

Aidan - actress, athlete and roller-blader extraordinaire, this energetic Canadian joined our forces about a year ago when she applied to work as a summer intern. Spending the summer volunteering at Hope Foster Home, Aidan learned a great deal about the plight of abandoned kids in China, and returned fully motivated to make a difference. This year she's headed the group's fundraising committee and has already taken in some serious $$$ in that capacity.

Zhenzhen - anthropologist, East Asian scholar, this New Yorker hails from Shanghai where she spent a good deal of her childhood. Fluent both in Mandarin and Shanghainese, Zhenzhen has and will be a huge help to our team as we try to navigate further opportunities in China. After six weeks researching for Let's Go China, Zhenzhen traveled to Dongergou orphanage in Shanxi this summer where she made many wonderful pals. She'll be co-ordinating volunteering this year for Harvard.

Vice-President

Shelley Jiang ('06) sjiang@fas.harvard.edu

Born in Beijing, now living in a large southern red state, Shelley is generally an expert on things Chinese and is famous on-campus for not sleeping. After a summer serving as Editor of Let's Go China, Shelley joined China Care and has since been playgrouping, fundraising and web-designing. Our resident technie, Shelley also speaks fluent Mandarin and consumes coffee by the crate-load.

Treasurer

Alvin Wong ('07) wong4@fas.harvard.edu

Alvin, though generally a cool customer, is a real stickler when it comes to financial matters. He promises to be more nitpicky and meticulous than we can handle. Another Mandarin-speaking New Yorker, Alvin joined us this Fall and has been a very popular playgrouper earning himself many adoring
fans. Having the same name as a famous chipmonk is a big plus, Alvin adds.

Secretary

Eva Liu ('08) eliu@fas.harvard.edu

A freshman from Chicago's chinatown, Eva has had a good introduction to a chinese-american childhood, most recently evinced by some memorable Cantonese Karaoke. Eva has joined forces with roommate Penny Fang to take over leadership of our playgroup this year. Both volunteers have also
taken seats on our fundraising committee this semester.
