Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction
Our 7th annual Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction is taking place this Saturday, December 1st!
All proceeds from the evening will go towards a special care unit at the Children's Home in Beijing. The Special Care Unit takes in the most medically fragile orphans and provides them with pre- and post-operational care. In the past five months alone, the Home has cared for 28 children.
This year's Benefit Dinner is jam-packed with fantastic speakers and entertainers. Sheryl WuDunn, the first Asian American woman to win a Pulitzer and the founder of the Half the Sky movement for oppressed women globally, will deliver the keynote address. Joe Wong, a member of David Letterman's comedic team, will perform a part of his always hilarious routine. A member of the Jubilee Project will also make a special appearance, giving us sneak peeks of their upcoming videos.

An annual tradition begun in 2006, HCC’s Annual Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction is our largest fundraiser of the year. This lovely evening includes a fully catered, three-course dinner in the beautiful Sheraton Commander, followed by a silent auction. Past benefit dinners have featured musical performances, fashion shows, and enlightening keynote speakers. To date, we have raised over $204,000 from six benefit dinners.
