How we spend our funds

From providing life-saving surgeries to helping the Baoji children find a new home, HCC works tirelessly to help China's orphans have a better life.

This past year, we funded the opening and operational costs for our very own Baoji's Children's Home. To date, more than 40 children have gone through Boaji to undergo medical care and nursed back to health. Many of them have gone on to live happy and healthy lives in foster care and even adoption. HCC was able to send its first group of interns to volunteer in Baoji and see the extent fo the positive impact we have on the lives of these children. .

We also provide money for surgeries, chiefly through our campus fundraisers, including our Harvard COOP gift-wrap and Halloween "trick or treat" fundraisers. We have successfully provided for 2 heart surgeries, a spinal procedure, a cerebral palsy procedure, and a cleft palate surgery. To read more about this, please see here and here.

We also occaisionally donate to special projects, such as funding $8000 for Bethel Foster Home's school for blind orphans.
