The XiongDi JieMei "Brother and Sister" Mentoring Program is a means through which we want to foster continued interest in Chinese culture for adopted children nine years old and up. To that end, one goal of the mentoring program is to befriend the children in mentor-mentee relationships, and to build trust and friendship as big-sibling figures.

We hope to establish a foundation of friendship between mentors and mentees through spending time together at least once a week, keeping in touch (online or otherwise), and monthly activities for all participants in the program. In keeping with our goals of having cultural-enrichment, these monthly large-group activities will be related to Chinese culture and will be a lot of fun!
