Important News and Announcements:
CASV is organizing a delegation of Harvard students to attend the Break the Silence Rally on the steps of Cambridge City Hall, Central Square, on Saturday, October 23 at noon. We will be meeting by Out of Town News at 11:30am. The rally is to mark October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Contact the CASV board if you have any questions.
Last year CASV sponsored an art show, Art of Survival, to raise awareness about sexual violence and to raise money for the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center. The show was on display in the Adams House Artspace in Harvard Square the week of February 12-15, 2004. We distributed a press release with further information; The Crimson also reviewed the exhibit. One of the organizers took a number of pictures during the show.
The Committee to Address Sexual Assault at Harvard (CASAH) was formed in 2002 to address and respond to education and resources surrounding sexual assault at Harvard. Their final report was released in April 2003.
We meet every Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Leverett Small Dining Room. E-mail the Coalition if you have any questions about our weekly meetings.
