We offer five levels of classes, starting from the alphabet to advanced conversation and writing. Levels one to three have both Mandarin and Cantonese classes, while levels four and five are in English.

Current Classes

Our summer classes have ended. Fall 2012 classes will begin the weekend of September 22 and 23.

Location

Classes are held on the second floor of Vanserg on the Harvard campus. The address of Vanserg is 25 Francis Avenue, Cambridge, MA 02138. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk from the Harvard T station to Vanserg.

Time

We offer classes in the fall, spring, and summer. Each semester lasts for eight weeks. Each week’s material is covered both Saturday and Sunday. The material for the Saturday and Sunday class for each week is the same, although the teachers may be different. Class times are from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Class registration is not necessary: students should just come into class, notifying the teacher.

Materials

While the classes are free, each level has a textbook that costs $6. Levels one to four have optional CDs reviewing textbook material that costs $1. The textbooks and CDs may be purchased at Vanserg on class days.
