Persephone


Persephone is a student journal published by the undergraduateClassical Club of Harvard University.  It contains translations ofLatin and Greek texts, original literary and artistic works on classicalthemes, and critical and original essays.

Submission Information: We welcome contributions from any studentof the Classics, “student” being understood in the original sense of someonemarked by eagerness and zeal for a particular endeavor.  Please submitthree copies of your manuscript and, if possible, a copy on a diskette. Manuscripts should be in 12-point type with at least one-inch margins,double-spaced throughout, page-numbered consecutively, and spell-checked. Classical references should be given in a concise bibliography, referencelist, or bibliographic essay.  Quotations from Greek, Latin, and otherforeign languages should be given both in the original language and inEnglish translation.  Greek text may appear in the Greek alphabetor may be transliterated.  Please obtain permission to reproduce anycopyrighted art.  Original line drawings may be submitted as photocopies;half-tones should be submitted as glossy prints.

Contributions may be left at the office of the Department of the Classicson the second floor of Boylston Hall at Harvard University or mailed to:
