Sever 113 at 7:45pm Thursday March 23, 2011 - Growing up Deaf: A Panel Discussion Discussion and Q&A with Deaf young adults about their life experiences Featuring: Liz Abernathey, Dartmouth College Tyler DeShaw, Boston University School of Education Haben Girma, Harvard Law School Jonathan Henner, Boston University School of Education Sever 113 at 7:45pm Friday March 24, 2011 - Deaf Professional Happy Hour at UNO's in Harvard Square Meet other deaf and hearing individuals in the community interested in Deaf culture and ASL! If you don't know ASL but want to learn - come with an open mind and have fun! This will be a casual gathering and ASL games are encouraged! UNO's in Harvard Square at 8pm Thursday March 31, 2011 - An Evening of Poetry with Ayisha Knight-Shaw Special Performance of American Sign Language Poetry and Storytelling Wellesley College at 7:45pm Free transportation to Wellesley college will be provided from MIT campus (Details TBA)
