CSA "Super Tuesdays"

Every Tuesday night from 8:00 PM - 12:00 AM, CSA "Super Tuesdays" opens the Catholic Student Center Lounge to the entire undergraduate community for study breaks and a chance to socialize. The theme changes every week and new suggestions are always welcome. In the past, we've watched the Boston Red Sox on TV, played "Apples to Apples: Bible Edition" and mafia, relaxed at regression nights with Disney movies, and enjoyed Christmas, Mardi Gras, and St. Patrick's Day parties. "Super Tuesdays" events are a great opportunity for Catholics at Harvard to take a break and make new friends, or even catch up with old ones! For more information, please contact Andrew Conway (gaconway@fas.harvard.edu) or Alex Duarte (aduarte@fas.harvard.edu).

"Go Team Catholic" Social Planning Team

The "Go Team Catholic" Social Planning Team organizes fun activities for CSA members and their friends to relax, experience Boston and Cambridge, and meet each other! We do everything from apple picking to concerts, dances and parties to movie nights. Please contact Gus Sustaita for more information about upcoming social activities.

Cornerstone

"The stone which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone" (Psalm 118:22).

We are all members of the Body of Christ. Cornerstone is a CSA group that seeks the full enfranchisement of Catholic BGLT students. Cornerstone meets monthly in the Catholic Student Center. The group is welcoming, inclusive, and respectful of diverse sexual and spiritual identities. Furthermore, it offers a support system for those trying to understand the way in which their sexuality relates to the Catholic faith. Discussion at meetings can be both serious and light-hearted; and movie nights, field trips, and study breaks with BAGELS (the Hillel BGLT group) are frequently arranged. Foremost, Cornerstone can be a great source of lasting friendships. If you have any questions, please contact Roger Mercado.

CSA Ecumenical and Interfaith Outreach Team

This team works to foster dialogue between Harvard Catholics and members of other Christian fellowships and faith groups on campus. We act as liaisons to the Harvard Interfaith Council, and our goal in this academic community is to foster understanding and friendly relationships between members of different faith backgrounds. For more information on ecumenical and interfaith activities, please contact Sarah Hallett for information on ecumenical (i.e. Christian) (shallett@fas.harvard.edu) events or Matt Cavedon for interfaith events (mcavedon@fas.harvard.edu).

Upcoming Events: Interfaith Awareness Week April 14-18, 2008, Jewish and Catholic Stereotypes in Modern Pop Culture: A Night of Viewings and Discussion with Hillel, Film Viewing of the The Matrix with the Buddhist Society, Veritas Forum 2009
